Tastefully Intimate
*WARNING: Some images contain nudity. Please be aware*
So a couple of weeks ago, I got together with model KAT KRAWCZUK and first time model JAKE JAMES HEWITT to shoot some intimate, yet still tasteful photos of them using natural light, indoors. We took these photos in Kat’s bedroom using a nearby window as our source of light. I’m very proud of these shots and I hope that you all like them too!
Thanks So Much Kat and Jake for helping me achieve some great shots for all of our portfolios!
Cheers,
-Lisabella

REAL MAGAZINE
-”A Magazine Created By Young Women For Young Women, Designed To Inspire, Empower And Promote Self-Respect.“-

Over the past month, I have been talking with Jean Young of REAL MAGAZINE located in Australia. She has informed me that my photography would be a great asset to the magazine. I’ve sent her a couple images she chose from my REDBUBBLE PROFILE which will be featured throughout the March 2010 issue. Not only will I be having my photography featured, I will also have my own profile in the magazine. I am very excited, as this is the first time I’ve had my art published!
“REAL is for the creative, bold, daring, curious, smart, funny, crazy, inventive, quirky, open-minded, carefree, brave and simply unique girls living across the globe. REAL was created to inspire you to do amazing and outrageous things and challenge you to think outside the box.”
I am more than honoured that I’ve been asked to be featured. I love everything that REAL MAGAZINE stands for.
Once I receive a copy in the mail, I will most definitely be sharing it with all of you here!
Thank You Jean Young for having me be a part of the upcoming issue! I am so pumped to see the final result!

On My Own Time
So I’ve decided to post a bunch of pictures I have taken on my own time.
I love taking photos like these. It’s fun to be able to pick up your camera and just go on an adventure. Everything you see is a photograph, it all depends how you decide to capture it.
Enjoy!
Cheers,
-Lisabella

Photo Update
Hey everyone!
So aside from my FIRE ART blog, I haven’t showed an update lately of photos that I’ve taken over the past couple of months. Here are a bunch from some photoshoots I’ve had between November and now. I hope that you like them!
Cheers,
-Lisabella

Fire Art
Hey Everybody!
So today I was putting a fire together in my fireplace at home, and as I waited for the wood to catch fire, I watched the flames get bigger. I quickly ran up to grab my camera and took some photos of the flames. I then pumped oxygen into the flames, (and later had my friend J.D help me because it’s pretty hard to pump oxygen and take the photo at the same time) and the fire would dance. Here are some photos that I really like. Which are your favourites? What do you see? The only editing done to these are the colour effects. I did not play with the shapes of the flames. If you’d like a print of any please contact.
Cheers,
-Lisa xo

Happy 2010!
Happy New Year Everyone!!
So it has been a couple of months since I’ve updated my blog, but it’s a new year, and things are going to start to pick up again and updates will be regular again. There are many projects on the table for this new year, and I can’t wait to get them going. This year, I’m going to be focusing a lot on the more artsy, creative side of things. I have a series already on the go, and have hopes to present it to the art gallery and have a show. My best friend of 16 years is an incredible artist and she is going to take part by painting and drawing my series so we can have a show together. The more we plan this out, the more I will tell you the details! So far it’s just in the making. Anyone willing to be part of my series please feel free to email me lisa@lisabellaphoto.com and let me know!
I hope that everybody had a fantastic, safe holiday season and I can’t wait to see what this new year brings to us all.
Cheers To The New Year!

Time Warp
hey everybody!
so on Friday, September 4th I took some pictures of my beautiful neighbours, who just happen to be best friends…. we decided to take a trip back in time to late 80s/early 90s and did some pretty fun, colourful photos!
Check out Katie Crocker, and Shawna Scheele in these wacky photos. It was Shawna’s first photoshoot, and she did great! I also posted some photos I took of her later in the day after Katie went to work, we were bored and hung out and just took some random pics. Enjoy!

Samm Smith
Samm and I decided to get together and do some natural, fun, down-to-earth photos. I had a fun time not only finally meeting her, but hanging out with her for a few hours, and doing photos that represent HER style and I’m pretty sure she had a blast too. I know I did.
Thanks Samm, for cutting loose with me and being yourself in the photos. I had fun!

Go “Fore” Gold at Redtail Golf Club
Hey everyone!
So on Monday, August 10th, I was asked by Kristy from MOLSON to take part in the TELUS Going “Fore” Gold Golf Tournament held at the Redtail Golf Club. This tournament was put together to raise money for the Canadian Olympic Womens Hockey Team for the 2010 Vancouver Olympics.
The day was hot, and sticky, and long.. but it was an amazing experience and I’m so glad that I was part of it. I got to meet some incredible people, including Cassie Campbell, former captain of the olympic womens hockey team, bringing us home gold medals in 2002, and 2006. It ws also awesome to meet and spend the day with Jennifer and Jana, two members from the 2010 olympic team.
The day was filled with golf, smiles and great times. Thank you so much Kristy for making me part of such an important day.
Good luck to the girls in the 2010 Olympics, I’ll be rooting for you!
