cam1Based in St. Thomas, Ontario Canada, Lisa Preece has an honest dedication to live her dream to becoming a well-known photographer.

Since spring of 2007, Lisa has been hard at work learning the realm of photography. Only just turning 19 years old, she had much to learn and experience.

With only a general point-and-shoot camera in her hands, she took on the competitive world of photography without backing down.

Through the year, Lisa had done work for Phil Bell, a local professional photographer, and took pictures at her Aunts wedding. Each photoshoot that Lisa did, she gained more and more experience.

In 2006 and 2007, Lisa took the grade 12 photography course at Parkside Collegiate Institute to learn Photo Manipulation, Adobe Photoshop, Theory and Film Photography.

Starting from nothing, Lisa continued to work her way up and kept motivated to do her best.

Today, at the young age of 21, Lisa proudly shoots with her Nikon D80 with her 18-135mm lens attatched..

  • -Ciniplex Entertainment XBOX 360 Campaign
  • -Corus Entertainment, London (FM96, 103.1 Fresh,AM980, 103.9 The Hawk)
  • -Kerri Masseo Clothing Line for Gymnasts, Dancers and Skaters.
  • -Collaboration with the Lee Mann Photography team
  • -Interviewed about photography for “COLLEGE CONFIDENTIAL” at 106.9 the X at Fanshawe College.
  • -Promotional work for Canadian band “DEAREST”
  • -Numerous portfolio work for aspiring models and those in the theatre arts.

Though without a studio, Lisa still continues to work hard to earn what she strives for, and will stop at nothing to achieve her photography goals. Because with true passion, comes true happiness.
